Jeannie’s calling is to engage people’s hearts and minds to connect with God, using whatever creative tools are available. Her main skill sets are in creative communication, music, and leadership. Experienced and skilled as a pianist/vocalist/worship leader/teacher, she is passionate about finding fresh and innovative ways to help people find and connect with God.
After serving as Director of Contemporary Worship for 16 years at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian in So Cal, she took on a new challenge in 2012 as Director for Discipleship after completing a Masters degree (MATL) through Bethel Seminary. In that role, her focus was on developing strategies for helping people follow Jesus with their whole heart and life, beyond church attendance and activities. She continues to be very interested in and focused on this primary task of disciple-making for the church.
Soulmind is a result of her continuing journey of finding creative ways to communicate the truth and reality of God’s presence and grace.
Jeannie most recently spent three years as Modern Worship Director at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church. She took over as the leader of “The Bridge” and helped get it back onto a firm footing, and helped meld it into the life of the whole church.
